Does J-Skin replace a visit to the dermatologist?
No. J-Skin is an educational tool for documenting and self-monitoring your moles over time. It does not diagnose and does not replace a dermatologist. Have any suspicious or changing mole checked by a doctor. Think of the app as a way to keep track of changes, not as a medical verdict.
How often should I check and photograph my moles?
A skin self-exam is commonly recommended about once a month. Moles you are watching can be photographed roughly every 3–6 months to help you catch changes. This is general guidance only. If you are at higher risk, follow the advice of your own doctor.
What is the ABCDE rule?
It is a simple checklist for assessing a mole: A — Asymmetry, B — Border (irregular or jagged edges), C — Color (uneven, several shades), D — Diameter (over 6 mm can be a concern), E — Evolution, meaning changes over time. It helps you decide whether to see a dermatologist.
Are my photos and data safe?
Yes. Everything stays on your phone — no account and no cloud upload by default. Your data is encrypted and protected by a PIN or biometrics. You can optionally make an encrypted backup to your own Google Drive. You stay in control of where your data goes.
How much does J-Skin cost?

What devices does J-Skin work on?
